Tárnok is rolling out a full-year lineup of community programs in 2026, from talks and concerts to regular meetups and holiday-themed events for every age group. But first up: a turbo-charged night of movement that turns the local school into a multi-sport playground. Mark the date, bring your crew, and get ready to sweat, stretch, and score.
June 12: Night of Movement
Ready for a high-energy evening? Head to Night of Movement (Mozgás Éjszakája) and dive into team sports, ball games, and calming stretches across multiple spaces at the school. Try something new or flex your favorite skills—floorball, volleyball, yoga, and streetball are all on the menu, with a crowd-pleasing schedule and an open, jump-in-anytime vibe.
Floorball at 18:00 (School – Plastic Court)
Grab a stick and light up the court with quick passes, sharp shots, and big games. It’s all about speed, goals, and friendly rivalry. Bring friends or mix in with new teammates—challenge very much accepted.
Volleyball at 19:00 (School – Gym)
Serve, block, and dig like you mean it. Expect heavy hits at the net and wild saves on the floor. Arrive as a team or join one on the spot; the buzz and motion are guaranteed.
Yoga at 19:00 (School – Ground Floor)
Slow down, reset, and stretch it out before or after the action. A focused session to ease tired muscles and refill your tank, physically and mentally. Center yourself, breathe deep, and head back into the night recharged.
Streetball at 21:00 (School – Gym)
Close the night with hoops: drain threes, thread slick assists, and flash your best tricks at the rim. No excuses—hit the court and finish strong with a full-court buzz.
Don’t forget your friends, sports shoes, a big bottle of water (aim for at least 34 oz), and your top-tier energy. See you in Tárnok on June 12—let’s move together!
Where to Stay and Eat
Sticking around? There’s a dog and cat boarding facility in Tárnok, 11 miles from Budapest, fenced and safely set up within Németh Riding School (Németh Lovarda), bordered by the M7 and Route 7. For refueling, a local restaurant and pizzeria serves Italian classics alongside Hungarian-style and grilled specialties.
