Budapest’s Lurdy Ház, at 1097 Budapest, Ferencváros, Könyves Kálmán körút 12–14, is turning 2026 into a non-stop mix of family fun, film premieres, blockbuster exhibitions, workshops, and industry meetups. The mall and event center lines up kid-friendly experiences, theater, concerts, family days, expos, professional conferences, and festivals—day after day, week after week.

Where and when

The action spans the entire year, with rolling weekly programs, special one-day shows, and multi-week exhibitions. Key dates run from June through December, anchored by Lurdy Mozi’s weekly film slate and the massively scaled Kockakiállítás (Brick Exhibition). Keep an eye on schedules and on-site food and drink options; organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs.

June kick-off: films and fresh starts

June 8–14: Lurdy Mozi opens the season with New week, new films, new experiences—curated picks for kids and adults, all in one place. On June 14, Aki a szakítás után leszel – SHOW WORKSHOP (Who You’ll Be After the Breakup – Show Workshop) lands in Budapest, a post-breakup show-workshop guiding you through self-rebuilding. Tickets start at about $24.60 and go up to $34.15 (converted from 9,000–12,500 HUF). The following week, June 15–21, the cinema refreshes its lineup again.

LEGO goes supersized

June 18–21 brings Kockakiállítás 2026 to Budapest, promising to be twice as big and three times better than last year. Expect close to 10 million LEGO bricks, life-size models, and hands-on fun. The exhibition returns repeatedly all summer and into early fall, so you’ll have multiple chances to catch it.

Why Kockakiállítás is a must

– Life-size super models, including premiere pieces shown only here—stand beside them, take photos, and claim a once-only moment.
– A huge Playhouse where kids and adults build, create, and play freely—pure, interactive creativity for the whole family.
More than an exhibition, it’s an experience designed to inspire, impress, and recharge.

Find your center

On June 27, Találj vissza önmagadhoz! (Find Your Way Back to Yourself!) delivers a mindset-shifting talk with practical tools to reconnect with who you are and what you want in a world moving too fast. The promise: step-by-step methods to reclaim clarity and make yourself a priority again.

A rolling summer of cinema

Every week from late June through December, Lurdy Mozi keeps cycling in the week’s best movies. Families can pick animated hits for kids while teens and adults dive into premieres and crowd-pleasers. Week blocks include June 22–28; June 29–July 5; July 6–12; July 13–19; July 20–26; July 27–August 2; August 3–9; August 10–16; August 17–23; August 24–30; August 31–September 6; September 7–13; September 14–20; September 21–27; September 28–October 4; October 5–11; October 12–18; October 19–25; October 26–November 1; November 2–8; November 9–15; November 16–22; November 23–29; November 30–December 6; December 7–13; December 14–20; December 21–27; and December 28–January 3, 2027.

Beauty, business, and analog joy in November

Beauty Forum 2026 lands on November 6 in Budapest, continuing a 34-year tradition where the beauty industry meets to absorb innovations, swap know-how, reconnect, laugh, and hug. It’s a social knowledge hub and a beloved habit that refuses to fade.
On November 19, the Hungarian Franchise Expo (Magyar Franchise Expo) gathers over 600 participants, 40 exhibitors from small and large franchise networks across sectors, and 10 talks on franchising and entrepreneurship.
