Siófok is stacked for summer 2026, with festivals, outdoor concerts, theater nights, lavender harvests, boat parties, city walks, and kid-friendly cruises along the south shore of Lake Balaton. Multiple venues across town host a packed calendar from early June into August, making this lakeside hub a year-round magnet for culture chasers and party people alike.
Lavender fields and city game
June 12–14 and June 19–21, ÉnKertem opens its gates for the Lavender Harvest at 136 Diófás Street, inviting visitors to cut fragrant bunches under the early-summer sun. All week, June 8–14, an outdoor sightseeing adventure game turns Siófok into a live-action puzzle, with friends and family tackling clues while discovering landmarks—then returns June 15–21 and June 22–28, continuing through July in one-week waves.
On the water: cruises, party boats, chill sunsets
Siófok’s harbor is busy with sightseeing cruises from June 8 onward, then June 22–28, June 29–July 5, July 6–12, July 13–19, July 20–26, and July 27–August 2. Disco party boats depart regularly: June 20 and 27; July 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, and 28. The Esti Chill sunset cruise layers Balaton panoramas with mellow music and cocktails on July 9, 16, and 23. Special Gyerekhajó (Kids’ Boat) sails July 4, 11, 18, and 25 with pirates, magicians, treasure hunts, games, and squeals of joy on deck.
Plázs Siófok: big nights on the sand
Plázs lights up starting June 19 with Neoton and the Metzker & Friends opening (Viktória Metzker, Milán Koósz, Mario, Pixa, and K-OSZ TV on site). June 20 brings Pogány Induló and a Disco Boat. The beach explodes again with AstroFest, June 26–27: main stage acts include Bruno x Spacc, ValMar, Bréda Bia, Mihályfi Luca, and Blansch on Friday, then KKevin, T. Danny, VZS, and K-OSZ Disco on Saturday; multiple zones run Metzker & Friends, Buda + Don1ka, Shyb 5 Star, Hazetomika, Mollywood, Grasa, Ekhoe, Alprite, plus beach and VIP pool DJs from Chrstphr to Ranger. Limited tickets and full-throttle visuals promised.
July goes heavy: Majka storms Plázs July 1 (doors 19:00). July 2, Krisz Rudi’s exclusive summer headliner welcomes guest AK26. July 3, BSW és a Gang takes the beach, followed by Metzker & Friends with BSW Gaben (DJ set), Bogi Nagy, and Milán Koósz. July 4 delivers Dzsúdló. July 9 hosts Mobb Deep. July 10 splits the night: Róbert Szikora and R-GO at 19:00, then TechnoMatch from 23:00 with Henrieta Fogel, Vuiiitka, Mario Baric, Ervo, Spica, and Bohnicsek for a tri-national underground blast. July 11–12 paints the sand at ULTRA COLOR FESTIVAL. July 17, Follow The Flow brings a 10th-anniversary show to the shoreline. Plus a special Plázs Boat Party on July 17 with Viktória Metzker and Milán Koósz raging into the sunset.
Street music and city walks
On June 20, Siófok’s streets brim with the 2nd Street Music Cavalcade (Utcazene Kavalkád), where young guns and seasoned musicians bring live sounds across multiple spots and genres. Wander, pause for a song, and let the music lead. Siófok Walks (Siófoki séták), the guided city strolls, pop up June 20 and 27, then July 3, 10, and 18, while two special green discovery walks with the city’s chief gardener—packed with building tales, park legends, riddles, and code-breaking—roll June 25 and July 23. From June 22 to August 19, the Beach Library (Strandkönyvtár) opens at Sóstó and Újhely beaches for book-borrowing between swims.
Theater under the stars
The Imre Kálmán Open-Air Stage (Kálmán Imre Szabadtéri Színpad) hosts a summer of classics. July 1, American Comedy (Amerikai komédia), a swing musical by Veres 1 Theatre (Veres 1 Színház) based on Károly Aszlányi’s play, sails into 1938 aboard the luxury liner La Paz—romance, high stakes, and roaring swing. Cast includes Kata Janza/Mónika Horváth, Kornél Simon, Ádám Bálint, and more; 100 minutes plus intermission. Tickets: Category I $32.7, II $29.9, III $24.5, IV $20.4. June 26 at the Imre Kálmán Cultural Center (Kálmán Imre Művelődési Központ), the BNK (Katinka Bódis-Nagy) Dance Association spins a summer-Balaton set to beloved hits under the teasing title How Could I Live Without You?. July 10–12, the New Orleans Jazz Festival (New Orleans Jazz Fesztivál) heats up the weekend. The same weekend, the 10th Balaton Babetta Tour (X. Balaton Babetta Túra) revs from the BAHART port. Intimate theater-talk nights land at the Teátrum: Róbert Koltai – Will I Never Die? (Sose halok meg?) on July 17 ($6.8) and Dorka Gryllus – Unscripted (Kötetlenül) on July 24 ($6.8).
Night rides, coins, and church sounds
June 28 from 08:00 to 12:00, the 35th National Coin Collectors’ Meetup gathers at Gyula Krúdy Vocational School. At 17:00 the same day, St. Martin performs at the Lutheran Church. July 18’s Night Small Loop (Éjszakai Kiskör) Bike Tour convenes at the Water Tower at sunset, with on-site registration 18:00–21:00, and pedals out at 21:00 via the Szántód ferry to Tihany’s lookout, then Balatonfüred, the pub row in Alsóörs, Kenese for a refresher, a moon check at Balatonvilágos, and back to Siófok. Registration encouraged.
Everness and retro fever
Everness Festival (Everness Fesztivál) spreads its mindful umbrella June 19–28 on the lakeshore. July 25 throws Balaton Retro Fever (Balatoni Retro Láz) for a nostalgic blast. And throughout, Siófok’s rhythm stays simple: beach by day, beats by night, boats at sunset, and a city that turns every stroll into a summer story.
