The late-summer crowd is headed to Lendava, where the Vinarium Festival 2026 pops open from August 29 to September 5 with culture, food, wine, and street buzz across various venues. Two headliners lead the charge: the beloved Bográcsfeszt (cauldron-cooking festival), a cauldron-cooking showdown packed with regional flavors, and the classic Lendva (Lendava) Harvest, a throwback to age-old grape-picking traditions that still bring the town to life.
Tradition Meets Street Life
Vinarium stitches together long-running programs: beyond the kettle cookers and harvest parade, expect the town’s signature ethno evenings, where folk rhythms, costumes, and dances turn squares into open-air stages. Local producers pour and plate across stalls and in cellars, while pop-up tastings and late-night bites keep the flow going.
Skyline Icon in Focus
The festival also salutes the anniversary of its namesake landmark, the Vinarium Lookout Tower on Lendava Hill, with events that spotlight the region’s view-rich wine culture and the tower’s role as a modern symbol of a deeply rooted winemaking past.
