Big-stage nights at Plázs Siófok
July 2 opens with Krisz Rudi – Homokba rajzolt szerelem (Love Drawn in Sand) in an exclusive one-off summer grand concert at Plázs Siófok. Gates at 19:00, guest: AK26. The following nights keep the beach stage hot: July 3 brings BSW és a Gang, and later Metzker & Friends with BSW Gaben (DJ set), Nagy Bogi, and Koósz Milán, as the 11-year-running club brand returns every Friday to the Plázs Aréna. July 4 features Dzsúdló, gates 19:00, while PUREBEAT turns July 4 into a rolling Day & Night, moving from water to sand with a PUREBOAT cruise at sunset and a PURENIGHT afterparty on the beach.
PUREBOAT into the Tihany sunset
On July 4 at Siófok Port (Krúdy sétány 2.), rendezvous from 17:00, sail at 18:00, and glide for three hours across the lake straight into the Tihany sunset. Expect the CO DJ crew, cold whisky, and peak summer vibes. Dress code: sunglasses mandatory for boarding. Back at 22:00 to Siófok, then straight to Plázs Beach where PURENIGHT runs until late. Outdoor theater that swings
At Imre Kálmán Open-Air Stage (Kálmán Imre Szabadtéri Színpad, Jókai Park 5.), July 2 at 21:00 (rain date posted) features American Comedy – a swing musical (Amerikai komédia – szving-musical), produced by Veres 1 Színház. Based on Károly Aszlányi’s hit play, with a libretto and lyrics by Attila Lőrinczy and music by Bálint Bársony (Artisjus and Fonogram award-winning composer and saxophonist). Directed by Károly Peller, the 100-minute show with an intermission hurls us onto the 1938 luxury liner La Paz en route to Monte Carlo: a hardened young businesswoman, a charming rogue, and a deck full of oddballs tangle while swing-era jazz pulses. On July 9 at 21:00 (rain date July 10), Jerry Bock–Sheldon Harnick–Joseph Stein’s Fiddler on the Roof (Hegedűs a háztetőn) arrives via Vörösmarty Theater (Vörösmarty Színház). Journey with Tevye as he marries off five daughters and clings to faith and tradition amid rising antisemitism, pogroms, and forced emigration. Ticket categories: 9,000–14,000 HUF (24.7–38.5 USD). On July 15 at 20:00 (rain date July 16), Pannon Castle Theater (Pannon Várszínház) stages The Jungle Book (A dzsungel könyve), a beloved musical reflecting human society through the laws of the wild, with a powerhouse ensemble and music full of humor and punch. From July 10–12, the New Orleans Jazz Festival (New Orleans Jazz Fesztivál) takes over Main Square (Fő tér) with free concerts. Global hip-hop and homegrown stars
July 9: Mobb Deep at Plázs Siófok, gates 19:00. July 10: Róbert Szikora and R-GO (Szikora Róbert és az R-GO) return. That same night, TechnoMatch opens at 23:00 with Henrieta Fogel, Vuiiitka, Mario Baric, Ervo, Spica, and Bohnicsek—international energy with Slovak and Hungarian female DJs and Croatian depths. July 17 brings Follow The Flow’s 10th-anniversary show to the beach, with a special retrospective set of fan anthems. July 18: Halott Pénz, gates 19:00. Viktória Metzker & Friends anchor Fridays at Plázs Aréna and also sail out July 17 on the BAHART x Plázs Boat Party. The party ship departs Siófok at 20:00 for a two-hour sunset ride with Metzker and Milán Koósz—then the night continues back on shore.
City walks, culture, and café theater
Weekly Siófok Walks (Siófoki séták, guided walks) pop up July 3 and July 10. The Imre Kálmán Cultural Center (Kálmán Imre Művelődési Központ) curates a rolling summer slate: open-air plays, easy-listening and classical evenings, literary nights with music, and family programs. On July 17 at 19:00, the KultTér–Teátrum coffeehouse hosts Róbert Koltai – Sose halok meg? (Will I Never Die?). At Szántódpuszta Farmstead (Szántódpuszta Majorság), Saturdays go animal-crazy: July 4 focuses on ducks with a 10:00–15:00 blacksmith demo and interactive session; July 11 spotlights poultry—turkeys and guinea fowl—with expert-led encounters; July 18 features the birdhouse residents—doves, quails, parrots—and 10:00–13:00 bread baking and tasting from original Szántódpuszta recipes. Multiple Kids’ Boat (Gyerekhajó) sailings pack in pirates, magicians, treasure hunts, games, and laughter for unforgettable onboard memories, with dates July 4, 11, and 18. Regular Siófok boat excursions (Siófoki hajókirándulás) and a sightseeing adventure game run June 29–July 5 and July 6–12, then continue July 13–19. Night ride around the lake
The Night Little Loop Bike Tour (Éjszakai Kiskör Kerékpártúra) rolls out on July 18. Meet at the Water Tower in Siófok at sunset, on-site registration 18:00–21:00, start at 21:00. The route pedals to Szántód, crosses by ferry to Tihany for lookout views of the south shore lights, then on to Balatonfüred and the Alsóörs pub row. Refresh in Kenese, check the moon over Balatonvilágos, and curve back to Siófok.
