The Royal Palace of Gödöllő is gearing up for a vibrant summer in 2026, packing the ornate courtyard of the Grassalkovich Palace with must-hear concerts and powerhouse vocalists. Under the open sky, audiences can expect genre-spanning shows, star turns, and that golden-hour magic that makes music hit differently. The address and heart of it all: 2100 Gödöllő, Grassalkovich Palace.
Lineup Highlights
Talamba rolls in with Promenade/8 Seasons on July 6, a percussion-driven journey that flips Vivaldi’s moods into modern motion. The courtyard’s acoustics are made for their rhythmic fireworks, promising a night that blends pulse, precision, and playful surprises.
On July 9, the summer program continues at 2100 Gödöllő, Grassalkovich Palace—mark the date. Then Peter Sramek steps onto the Sisi Summer Theatre stage on July 25, delivering a vocal performance that threads pop finesse through palatial romance. Also on the Sisi bill: the evergreen Apostol, delivering a crowd-pleasing concert that nods to classics and keeps the energy high.
Stay Near the Music
Settle in at Árnyas Panzió, a 64-guest hideaway just a breath from Budapest and a stroll from the palace. Its garden-linked event hall suits weddings, corporate gatherings, receptions, music events, conferences, training sessions, and family celebrations.
Or step onto Gödöllő’s main square at Queen Elizabeth Hotel (Erzsébet Királyné Hotel). Housed in a renovated early-1900s Secessionist former town hall, it reopened in spring 2008 and sits beside the Royal Palace, only 25 minutes from downtown Budapest. Expect welcoming rooms, a mood-lit restaurant, a singular ballroom, full conference gear, and attentive staff.
Prefer calm by the shrine of Máriabesnyő? The Salvator Sisters’ 1933 convent now hosts the Mater Salvatoris Retreat House and Conference Center, active in social support, education, skills development, public learning, healthy lifestyle programs for youth, and spiritual care for all ages.
There’s also a quiet family-house district close to the center and university quarter, offering attractive rooms with bathrooms and kitchenettes, plus a landscaped garden with outdoor furniture for pure unwinding. And Panzió SISI greets guests on Gödöllő’s main street near the famed Grassalkovich Palace—modern, comfy, friendly, and easy to reach whether you’re here for business, conferences, or a Sisi-flavored escape.
Refuel in Style
The Royal Palace’s first-class café returns in 2026 at a new location with expanded spaces and a refreshed menu. Expect modern design, comfortable seating, and a varied culinary lineup—perfect after a palace tour or family stroll.
