Kistarcsai Kulturális Egyesület is rolling out a full 2026 program at the Basic Services Center (Alapszolgáltatási Központ), 2143 Kistarcsa, 2/A Batthyány St. (Batthyány u. 2/A), mixing talks, festivals, exhibitions, and remembrance ceremonies to boost local culture and community life across all ages and self-organizing groups in Kistarcsa and nearby towns.
July Highlights
July 16: Zsolt Kiss explains how he converted a Suzuki S-Cross into a rally car, drawing on a local company’s crash repair expertise and the framework set by the Hungarian National Motorsport Association, with nods to rally scenes elsewhere. July 23: Péter Gedeon surveys the five major world religions—Christianity, Islam, Brahmanism, Buddhism, and Chinese universalism—touching on ancient roots, local congregations, nature-based traditions, and how internal disagreements reveal shared ground. July 30: Aladár Lányi charts Ikarus’s post–World War II rise, U.S. presence, post-1990s fate and successors, NABI’s results, composite buses, and the current state of bus manufacturing. Plus: July 11 Kertmozi in Kistarcsa outdoor cinema.
