This summer, the Mihály Zichy Memorial House is opening its garden gates for three lively Wednesday evenings packed with music, tours, talks, and hands-on fun. Just 20 minutes from the southern shore of Lake Balaton, the 19th-century family home of painter Mihály Zichy becomes a warm-weather hub for art and community throughout July and August. Families, history buffs, and concertgoers all get a slice: kids craft and explore while adults dive into fresh stories about Zichy’s life, the aristocratic Zichy clan, and the mansion’s layered past. Each date culminates in live music—ranging from Baroque to contemporary, with bold improvisations. Tickets are available at the venue. Organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs.
