Siófok lights up the entire summer with festivals, theater, concerts, exhibitions, and family fun across multiple venues from June 22 to August 19, 2026. From kids’ paper theater on library steps to sunset boat parties, the south shore of Lake Balaton keeps the calendar stacked—and gives you a good reason to visit in any season.
Family, Play, and Library Steps
On July 14 at 16:30, Lépcsőmesék / Papírszínház brings paper theater to the staircase of the BRTK Library. The library’s children’s terrace also hosts free Nyári ké(s)zcsodák craft sessions every Monday and Thursday, 10:00–12:00 and 15:00–17:00 (July 16, 20, 27, and July 30). Vacation kids’ concerts hit the Hajóállomás too: on July 20, 17:30–21:00 MariannaArt crafts and games, then 19:00–20:30 Paár Julcsi Hangoló with a forest-themed concert and dance; on July 27, Tered ÉlményMűhely hands-on workshops from 17:30, followed by Sólya band’s interactive concert 19:00–20:30.
On the Water: Boats, Beats, and Sunsets
Siófok’s harbor stays busy. Regular Bulihajó disco boats depart the Hajóállomás July 14, 18, 21, 25, 28. Esti Chill cruises promise sunset views, mellow music, and good cocktails on July 16, 23, and 30. Families get their own Gyerekhajó on July 18 and 25 with pirates, magicians, treasure hunts, and games on deck. The Plázs Boat Party with BAHART sails July 17 at 20:00 for a two-hour sunset blowout with Metzker Viktória and Koósz Milán. Standard Siófoki hajókirándulás sightseeing cruises run weekly July 13–19, July 20–26, and July 27–August 2.
Lulu Élménypark: Games and Adrenaline
Lulu Adventure Park keeps popping up all summer with interactive skill and board games, a go-kart track, bunny petting, archery, and a craft workshop. Older visitors can try airsoft target shooting, shuriken throwing, and axe hurling. Dates include July 13–14, 16–19, 20–21, 23–26, and 27–28, plus July 30–August 2.
Theater Under the Trees
Kipling’s The Jungle Book (A dzsungel könyve) arrives July 15 at 20:00 at the Kálmán Imre Open-Air Stage (rain date July 16). The Pannon Várszínház production—shaped for the stage by Hegedűs D. Géza and Radnóti Zsuzsa—plays the jungle as a mirror of society: honest, strict, governed by nature’s laws. Mowgli’s battles, the sting of human calculation, and a love that draws him back anchor a finale with a new Adam and Eve facing a world awaiting redemption. Expect humor, biting lyrics, and style-parody songs that resonate across ages. Cast features Németh Ádám (Maugli), Kiss Ábel (Child Maugli), Keresztesi László (Akela), Pap Lívia (Bagira), Molnár Ervin/Jónás Szabolcs (Balú), Szelle Dávid (Ká), Zayzon Csaba (Sir Kán), and a large ensemble. Róbert Koltai brings Sose halok meg? to the KultTér (Teátrum Café) on July 17 at 19:00—a lively, musical, story-rich solo evening shaped with director Ildikó Gaál, drawing on their four books. Majestic Sounds organ concerts deliver grand tones: July 20 features Dutch organist Evert van de Veen, baroque-rooted with romantic turns and chorales, including two Dutch composers. On July 27, Anasztázia Bednarik performs Bach’s C major Toccata, Adagio and Fugue BWV 564, Liszt’s E major Legend, and Widor’s Symphony No. V Op. 42 No. 1 (also listed twice that day).
Dés László, Five on Stage
Dés László – Így öten lands July 30 at 21:00 at the Kálmán Imre Open-Air Stage, Jókai Park 5. Guests: Pál Mácsai, József Wunderlich, Anikó Für, Petra Gubik. Expect hits from across his musicals, film scores, jazz and pop eras: Nagy utazás, Vigyázz rám, Olyan szépek voltunk, Legyen úgy!, Mi vagyunk a grund! He sits at the piano, sings new and familiar songs, and trades solos and duets with guests—first-time summer duets from Gubik and Wunderlich promised. Top-flight band included. Guided Siófoki séták: Tér, forma, dallam sets off July 18 at 13:00 from the Kálmán Imre Memorial House (Kálmán Imre Promenade 5). Fee: $3.8 payable at the Memorial House before departure, or free with a same-day Memorial House ticket. A special city “green” walk on July 23 decodes building stories, park legends, riddles, and ciphers led by Siófok’s chief gardener—free and full of hidden histories. On July 18, the Éjszakai Kiskör night cycling tour gathers at the Water Tower at sunset (on-site registration 18:00–21:00), departure 21:00 to Szántód, ferry to the Tihany Lookout, Balatonfüred, Alsóörs pub row, Kenese refresh, Balatonvilágos moon-gazing, and back to Siófok—sign up and ride. Szántódpuszta’s Animal Saturdays on July 18 spotlight the birdhouse residents—doves, quail, parrots—with bread baking and tasting 10:00–13:00 by original recipe; entry with a walking ticket.
