February 21 brings an all-day Chinese Lunar New Year celebration to the city’s squares, packed with hands-on crafts, food, and performances. Visitors can make and paint fine porcelain serving platters, catch a traditional tea ceremony demo, and bite into freshly made Chinese wonton dumplings. Curated Asian vintage finds set the mood, while a roaring, luck-bringing lion dance storms through the crowd—everything powered by Fabrika’s lively lineup.
Art, Taste, and a Roaring Lion
One of the day’s highlights: the opening of Zsuzsa Miklósi’s photo exhibition Hong Kong Stories (Hongkongi történetek), a vivid snapshot of city life and culture. Most programs are free to join, with one exception—the porcelain workshop requires a paid ticket. Bring your appetite, your curiosity, and maybe a bit of luck; the lion’s got the rest.
