Vitnyéd (Vitnyéd) is getting ready for another lively celebration as the 4th Sweet Bread and Gastronomy Festival (Kalács and Gastronomy Festival) takes over Gypsy Lake (Cigány Lake) and its scenic surroundings on October 4, 2025. Locals and visitors can expect a feast for the senses starting at 1:00 PM, packed with mouth-watering treats and festive energy.
Delicious Competitions and Family Activities
This year’s highlights include a fiercely contested cauldron cooking competition and a bake-off for the best sweet bread (kalács) and pastries. Kids won’t be left out, with plenty of activities designed just for them. Culture lovers will also get their fix with a variety of performances scheduled throughout the day.
