Balatonboglár’s 7th Boglart Festival lands August 26–30, 2026 at Babel Camp, blending a friendly folk and world music festival with a hands-on music course right on the shores of Lake Balaton. Days are for learning, nights for dancing: two stages roll out live sets, then the folk pub keeps the party going till dawn. Venue: 8630 Balatonboglár, Szabadság Street 28.
Boglart stands out as both a creative workshop and a summer community. By day, participants dive into workshops covering everything from Moldavian and string-band folk techniques to practical music industry know-how. By night, concerts flow into táncház sessions and a world music–electronic afterglow, keeping the vibe loose, social, and high-energy.
Freshly announced acts include Belgium’s Enara Navaira, Senegal’s Afrikora, the Istrian group Veja, plus Hungarian names Okos Viola, Obadu, and the festival’s host band, Góbé. A Boglart hallmark: many performers teach during the day, then hit the stage after dark, turning the grounds into a living lab for folk and global sounds.
After last year’s buzz, the showcase block returns, bringing Hungarian and international professionals together to discover artists and swap ideas. More artist announcements will drop in the second half of November.
