2026.08.26–08.30, Balatonboglár, 8630, Szabadság Street (Szabadság utca) 28. The 7th Boglart Festival lands again on the Balaton shore at Babel Camp, blending a cozy folk–world music vibe with hands-on learning by day and full-blooded concerts and dance by night. It’s part festival, part folk music course, part music industry forum and showcase: daytime is for instrument techniques, workshops, and industry know-how; evenings are for two alternating stages, then a folk pub dance floor that runs until dawn.
Artists, Stages, and Nightlife
Freshly announced acts include Belgium’s Enara Navaira, Senegal’s Afrikora, Istria’s Veja, plus Hungarian names Okos Viola, Obadu, and the festival’s resident hosts, Góbé. A Boglart signature remains: many performers also teach during the day, covering everything from Moldavian and string folk idioms to practical music business topics. Concert nights flow into táncház sessions, then a global-electronic afterglow to keep the pulse going.
Showcase and Industry Meetups
After last year’s warm reception, the showcase block is back, giving Hungarian and international professionals a place to meet, compare notes, and spark collaborations. Organizers will roll out the first lineup announcements in the second half of November, while passes are currently available at very low prices—festival passes, combined passes, 48-hour tickets, and day tickets.
Tickets, Discounts, and Access
Discounted passes/tickets are now offered for under-18s, over-64s, and teachers. If you’re joining the course or the showcase and also qualify for a discount, combine discounted festival passes/day tickets with course passes/day tickets for the best deal. Entry is free for children under 10. Dates: August 26–30, 2026. Location: Balatonboglár, 8630, Szabadság Street (Szabadság utca) 28. Organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs.
