Many programs offer online tickets, and the agenda stretches seamlessly into 2027 with a steady rhythm of sailing, cinema, comedy, art, and long summer nights on the water.
June: Yoga, sunset cruises, and Museum Night
June 17, 17:30 brings the International Day of Yoga on Tagore Promenade at the Széchenyi statue plaza. On June 18, the Bem Memorial Choir joins Gabriella Csikhon and Attila Sári for a summer-welcoming concert. From June 15–18 and again June 22–25, hop on Balatonfüred sightseeing cruises; extended lake excursions return June 19–21 and June 26–28. June 19 packs in culture: an interactive Night Journey at the Esterházy Visitor Center (1 Táncsics Road) starts at 21:00, free with registration, while at 17:00 Arács Community House (62 Lóczy Lajos St.) opens Material to Light, a show by graphic artist Milán Takács, introduced by museum educator Orsolya Nyitrai with live electronica/folktronica-downtempo by Holb Levente “Zsörk.” Expect digitally created, paper-based collages, experimental images, poster and logo design, and analog photography; on view until August 24 during opening hours (Mon, Thu 10:00–16:00; Wed 12:00–16:00). Also at 18:00, Story Picnic on the lawn at the Huray Villas features tales by Benedek Elek and Zsuzsanna Czipri from Czipri’s Balatonfüred stories, narrated by Edit Szabadi. The International Guitar Festival runs June 20–27. From July 1, organist Gergely Rákász performs MOZART in the Lutheran Church ($16.70). The 37th Balatonfüred Gospel Days arrive July 2–4; the Hungarian Summer Salsa Festival runs July 7–13. Disco Party Boats depart July 9, 16, 23, and 30 from the port. The inaugural International Klezmer Festival lands July 10–12. On July 11 and throughout weekends, the Chill Boat returns. The Allianz Bay Swim and SUP Challenge splashes down July 11. Stage fans can catch Hyppolit, the Butler (Hyppolit, a lakáj) at the Open-Air Stage on July 14 ($16.50). Dumafüred 2026, the town’s comedy summit, runs July 17–26 with heavy hitters and All Stars nights across multiple slots and prices ($21.20–$29.60). Through early August, weekly cruise and film schedules continue, with Disco Party Boats on August 6 and 13. The Large Boat National Championship by the Hungarian Sailing Federation runs August 6–9. From August 7–30, Balatonfüred Wine Weeks line Tagore Promenade with cellars, regional flavors, and long, tasting-led evenings.
