Every Wednesday at 9:15 a.m., families in Balatonfüred gather for Ringató at the Lipták Gábor City Library (Lipták Gábor Városi Könyvtár), where certified Ringató session leader Rita Rábaközi guides a warm, music-filled morning. Babies and toddlers ages 0–3 arrive with moms, dads, and grandparents for singing, play, laughter, live vocals, and plenty of instruments. Enter through the small gate on the left, then use the side terrace door. Venue: 8230 Balatonfüred, 35 Kossuth Lajos Street (Kossuth Lajos u. 35). Everyone’s welcomed with open arms.
Lap games and gentle holding rituals help build a secure parent–child bond. Little ones discover their own musical mother tongue while being surrounded by rich, meaningful songs, live singing, and instrumental sounds. They experience their first community moments right beside their mothers. Musical skills grow—and that growth supports emotional intelligence, memory, attention, imagination, creativity, speech, and motor development. Parents share in the joy of singing together. And there’s one keepsake that lasts a lifetime: a love of music.
