Every Wednesday at 9:15 a.m., the Gábor Lipták City Library in Balatonfüred turns into a warm, musical haven for families with little ones aged 0–3. Led by certified Ringató session leader Rita Rábaközi, the gatherings blend singing, playful movement, and hands-on instrument fun to spark joy and nurture early development. Families are warmly welcomed at 8230 Balatonfüred, 35 Kossuth Lajos St. Enter through the small left-side gate, then the side terrace door.
Why parents love Ringató
These intimate lap games and songs help build a secure parent–child bond. Babies and toddlers discover their own “musical mother tongue” through live singing and real instruments, soaking up a rich, high-quality repertoire rather than screens or canned sound. It’s often a child’s first shared community moment with their mother, wrapped in melodies, rhythm, and laughter—while parents rediscover the joy of making music together.
Benefits that last
Music skills blossom here—and that ripple matters. As musical abilities grow, so do emotional intelligence and core cognitive capacities like memory, attention, imagination, and creativity. Speech and motor development get a lift, too. The takeaway is lifelong: a love of music that can carry children—and their families—far beyond the library walls.
