Every Saturday morning, beer fans get a unique chance to peek inside Hungary’s oldest still-operating brewery, the legendary Pécs Brewery (Pécsi Sörfőzde). The Pécs Beer Tour brings guests straight to the heart of the brewing action, revealing secrets from the boiling kettles to the fermentation tanks—and finishing with a tasty, guided tasting of Pécs’ most interesting beers.

There’s no nodding off over dusty exhibits here: guided by expert tour leaders, visitors actually walk through the working brewery, learning firsthand about ingredients, processes, and what makes Pécs beer special. After the production tour, the brewery’s spacious tasting room awaits, where guests sample a curated selection with help from knowledgeable staff.
How To Join the Brewery Tour
The tours run every Saturday from 10:00 AM to noon at 13 Tavasz Street, Pécs. Registration is required and closes Thursday at 8 PM each week—spots are only confirmed once you’ve received an official reply. For groups larger than 15 people, weekday bookings are available as well. The all-inclusive ticket is about 11 USD per person, which covers the tour and tasting.
