Belga (Bëlga), formed in 1998, has owned the main stages of every major Hungarian festival and packs out clubs across the country every fall–spring season. Two documentaries chart their story, and the scene has recognized their work with Fonogram, Viva Comet, and Hungarian Music Video Festival (Magyar Klipszemle) awards. Now they’re back with Egyre gondolunk (We Think the Same), the 14th entry in their full-length lineup—and they’re celebrating big.
Two Nights, Zero Chill
The new album drops live on Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28, at Dürer Garden (Dürer Kert). Expect a full-on Belga (Bëlga) experience for everyone who cares about gardening, has white-knuckled it down a highway, or learned the hard way what happens when you don’t roll out the trash bin on time. In other words: if you’ve lived life, you’re invited.
Details, Please
Dürer Garden (Dürer Kert) hosts both nights, serving up the band’s signature wit, socially x-ray lyrics, and crowd energy. Come for the new tracks, stay for the collective chaos. (Cover photo: Márton Koncz – We Love Budapest)
