Kistarcsa (Kistarcsa) gears up for a memorable autumn with a packed program of community events. Kicking things off on October 23, locals will gather from 10:00 AM by the Memorial Wall on Deák Ferenc Street to honor the heroes of the 1956 Revolution, then continue the commemoration at the Csigaház.
Cultural Highlights and Creative Workshops
The schedule blossoms with city-wide commemorations, lecture series like “Japan’s Faces in Spring and Autumn” by Antal Cuhorka, and a talk by Krisztina Majorné Nyulász about the Corvin Artists’ Circle Association (Corvin Művészeti Kör Egyesület). Teens aged 16-20 can join a five-session felt jewelry workshop at the end of October.
Family Fun and Festivities
Families have plenty to enjoy, from the Baba-Mama Club’s activities at the library to a Halloween Party at the Csigaház. In November, László Lauer will discuss woodcarving, there will be an evening of stand-up with Musimbe Dávid Dennis ($19.20), and lectures on cat ownership and healthy living. The season wraps up with “Everyone’s Christmas” on December 6.
The organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs.
