Bogács Nights: Retro Beats And Feast

Bogács Retro Terasz Club & Restaurant: ’90s–2000s hits, live music, late‑night parties, regional cuisine, and Eger wines on a year‑round terrace in the Wine Cellar Row. Ageless recreation in Bogács.
where: 3412 Bogács, Bornegyed, cserépi úti pincesor 31.

For one long, sparkling season, the Hintóvölgye Retro Terasz Club & Restaurant on the Bogács Wine Cellar Row is where classic hits and countryside flavors meet. It’s the place to recharge with the last 30 years of anthems—’90s and 2000s bangers plus today’s fresh favorites—then linger over regional dishes and wines on a terrace that’s free to use all year. The motto says it best: “Ageless recreation. Where tastes and vibes meet.” The indoor area is a 5,382-square-foot (500 m²) air‑conditioned space built for late-night parties, while the digital terrace hums until midnight. Every weekend runs until dawn with the biggest tracks from the ’90s–2000s, and in July–August there’s live music every weekday until 12:00 a.m. on the terrace.

Where and when

Find it at 3412 Bogács, Wine District (Bornegyed), Cserép Road Cellar Row (Cserépi úti pincesor) 31, right on the tourist trail. Summer weekends are stacked, and selected weekdays join the ride. Doors open Friday–Saturday 5:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m. (also on Easter and Whit Sunday). On weekdays in July–August, music runs until midnight. The kitchen serves until 9:30 p.m. Sit where you land: party seating is first come, first served, and dinner guests can stay inside for free until 9:45 p.m. After that, a party ticket is needed unless the event is free. Face control is in place; security keeps things smooth.

Food and wine: rustic meets seasonal

The menu balances seasonal specialties with time-honored countryside classics. Expect a tour of Bükkalja and the Eger Wine Region right in your glass. The Bogács Cellar Row pours the area’s best, wrapped in the sleek buzz of a wine bar with nearly 300 years of cellar tradition underfoot. Pair it with a long lunch or dinner before the dance floor wakes up.

Tickets, access, and the late start

Terrace access is digital until midnight. Tickets cost USD 4.10–8.19 (1,500–3,000 HUF) depending on the act, available on-site from 9:00 p.m. Performers start between 12:00–1:00 a.m. in the air‑conditioned indoor space. No table reservations required; arrive early for seats. The team behind the vibe includes Mathias, József Czaga (live), DJ Berki, Fest DJ, Kormé, and Frank’Oh. Weekly event details drop on Facebook.

Stay close: soak and sleep

Bogács doubles as a spa town, and lodging options cluster around the Bogács Thermal and Beach Bath. Highlights include the Jurta Holiday Center with nature-close apartments and direct bath access; the new Streamside Apartments (Patak‑party Apartmanok) by the west entrance with a shortcut via Thermál Panzió***; Thermál Camping and Cabins for year-round, winterized stays next to the pools; the revamped Thermál Panzió with nine superior rooms (one accessible and a two-room family suite); and thermal hotels and apartments spread across two buildings for couples, families, and groups. Nearby guesthouses tick every box: Akác Guesthouse (Akác Vendégház) near the sports field and Cellar Row for 6–8 guests; Ildikó Apartment (Apartman Ildikó) on a quiet central street, 10–12 guests, with ping-pong and a garden; and a charming veranda farmhouse with four rooms, each with a private bathroom, plus a large shared kitchen and landscaped garden. Many stays sit about 1,312 feet (400 m) from the baths, with fenced parking, covered terraces, Wi‑Fi, and grill corners.

One last note

Organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs. But the promise holds: terrace free all year, beats till late, and Bogács wine and spa life by your side.
