The 7th Boglart Festival lands on the shores of Lake Balaton from August 26–30, 2026, turning the Babel Camp (8630 Balatonboglár, Szabadság Street [Szabadság utca] 28) into a buzzing mix of folk and world music, hands-on learning, and late-night dancing. It’s equal parts festival, training camp, music industry forum, and showcase, with workshops by day, two concert stages by night, and dancing in the folkkocsma until dawn.
Music Meets Masterclass
Boglart’s magic is its dual nature: daytime is for learning, evenings for concerts and dance. Performers often double as tutors, sharing everything from Moldavian and string-band folk techniques to practical music industry know-how in workshop sessions. The result is more than a run of gigs—it’s an inspiring creative space and community experience, where learning, music, and the Balaton summer sync in rare harmony.
First Wave of Artists
Freshly announced acts include Belgium’s Enara Navaira, Senegal’s Afrikora, Istria’s Veja, plus Hungarian talents Viola Okos, Obadu, and the festival’s resident hosts, Góbé. Concert nights flow into táncház, then a world-music-meets-electronic afterglow.
Showcase and Industry
After last year’s strong buzz, the showcase block returns, bringing together Hungarian and international professionals to connect and brainstorm.
Tickets and Discounts
Early buyers can score very low prices on festival passes, combo passes, 48-hour tickets, and day tickets, with the first lineup wave arriving in the second half of November. Discounted tickets are now available for under-18s, over-64s, and teachers. If you’re joining the course or showcase and qualify for a discount, combine reduced festival passes/day tickets with course passes/day tickets. Free entry for kids under 10.
