Budapest’s Édes Mackó kürtőskalács-cukrászda bakes gluten-free and dairy-free chimney cakes every Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m., no pre-order needed. Swing by the shop at 1146 Budapest, 14–16 Állatkerti Boulevard (Állatkerti körút), and get the signature treat without the allergens, fresh off the grill.
How to Order on Other Days
Outside those two days, they’ll still bake gluten-free and dairy-free versions on weekdays, but only by pre-order: a minimum of 4 pieces, and place your order at least 1 day in advance. If you have special requests, they’ll do their best to make it happen—just ask.
What to Expect
The team prepares the allergen-friendly dough with dedicated gluten-free and dairy-free ingredients, then bakes on-site for same-day freshness. The Wednesday and Friday window is designed for walk-ins, so you can skip the planning and still enjoy safe sweets. For planners or group treats, the weekday pre-order option keeps things flexible while ensuring capacity for larger batches.
