Why Go

For the third year, Dogz brings together responsible humans, would-be dog parents, respected trainers and vets, and every animal lover who just wants a great May Day outdoors. Think huge green space, community vibes, and a celebration of joyful, responsible dog life. Hard to top for a May 1 plan.

Pack Walks

The pack walks are tailor-made for movement, training, and socialization. Join the organized, breed-specific walks and stack up shared memories among fellow four-leggers. Dachshunds are aiming for another record—show up, bring your own “tacsi,” and help set the bar even higher.

Juti-futi Canicross

Try the canicross craze popular in Finland and Norway: run the marked course with your dog as fast as you can. An easy U-shaped track (about 250–300 meters, or 820–985 feet) is open to test the sport for free, guided by experienced dog athletes. No gear? No problem—loaner equipment is provided at no cost.

Vándor Vurstli

Karzat Theater (Karzat Színház) rolls in with Vándor Vurstli, honoring classic Hungarian fairground fun and the old City Park vurstli tradition. After roaming at home and abroad, the traveling funfair returns to the Great Meadow to revive the golden-age May Day spirit. Don’t just take our word for it—come see it spin to life.

We Love Dogz Arena

Hear top-tier vets, trainers, and experts break down dog health and the realities of urban dog ownership—clear, current, and straight from the source.

Entry is free for under-18s with registration. Standard ticket: $2.70. Supporter ticket: $5.40.
