Running every second Saturday of the month, the Saturday Sampler offers interactive, family-friendly sessions designed to spark curiosity. Next up: Motion Mania: “Dizzying Star Wars Walk” on Saturday, January 10, 2026, 10:30–12:00. A Vasarely painting twists left, then right—does it feel like stairs, a tunnel, a pyramid, or a dizzying Star Wars–style stroll? Discover how straight lines can form curves, harness the power of the color scale, and create optical illusions using a special puzzle made for this painting. Then rotate pre-cut squares to craft a captivating piece to take home.
Who Can Join and Tickets
Ages: 6–12 with adult companions. On every second Saturday, visitors under 26—and up to two accompanying adults of their under-18 close relatives—enter the museum free. Program ticket required.
