Budapest’s Palace of Wonders (Csodák Palotája) is opening its doors to teachers, kindergarten staff, and informal educators with a free STEAM workshop to shape the 2026/27 season together. The education team promises hands-on ideas to “spice up your class or kindergarten program” and turn the Palace of Wonders (Csodák Palotája) into a tool in your hands. Sessions run in person and online, with tailored options for high school groups alongside ready-made packages for kindergarten, lower, and upper primary ages.
What STEAM Means Here
STEAM blends five fields—science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics—so young people can tackle complex problems creatively and collaboratively. The approach balances scientific rigor with artistic thinking, building skills through integrated, real-world challenges.
What You’ll Do
The free workshop recaps best practices from 2025/26, invites co-design on next year’s new programs, and unpacks pedagogy and fresh methodologies through a STEAM lens. Expect an overview of the Palace of Wonders (Csodák Palotája) and the Csopa Creative Pedagogy Workshop (Csopa Alkotópedagógiai Műhely) programs, a summary of last year’s STEAM lessons, a “Let’s STEAM Together!” maker-style tasting and planning session, plus a practical guide to the 2026/27 season with Q&A.
