where: 1036 Budapest, 3. kerület - Óbuda, Lajos utca 163.

KiddieTime turns Wednesday afternoons into a family hangout at the Óbuda Synagogue (Óbudai zsinagóga), introducing Jewish traditions to ages 3–10 through songs, stories, and movement. Running 4:30–6:00 p.m. every Wednesday at 1036 Budapest, 3rd District – Óbuda (Óbuda), Lajos Street (Lajos utca) 163, the series invites children and parents to learn and unwind together in a warm community space.

Sing, Play, Move

Each session unfolds in three parts. First up: a music circle for kids and parents with Hebrew songs, prayers, and melodies tied to the holidays. Then comes the weekly Torah portion reimagined through drama education—guided play, role-play, and creative making led by a drama educator to dive into the stories. The finale is all movement: a Krav Maga class led by a coach with experience in Israel, building confidence, discipline, and team spirit alongside physical skills.

Who’s Behind It

KiddieTime is led by Zsuzsa Szilánk, education director at EMIH. Program coordination is by Miri Radó, with Jewish content curated by Petra Nagy. Sessions are free but require registration.
