Every Sunday in 2026, ARAZ Restaurant in Budapest opens its doors with flexible two- and three-course lunch menus you assemble yourself. In the heart of the 7th District, at 42–44 Dohány Street, guests can mix and match from three soups, five mains, and three desserts—ideal for leisurely family or friends’ lunches, or a tasty weekend break from the weekday sprint.

Find ARAZ at 42–44 Dohány Street, Erzsébetváros, 1074 Budapest. Weekend lunch service runs 12:00–14:30. Reservations for groups of more than 10 are welcome by email. Driving? Before you leave, show your bill at reception to validate your parking ticket. A 12% service charge is included in the bill.

What’s on the menu

Chef de Cuisine Áron Barka and his team rotate fresh, exciting lineups each week. The July 12 selection includes: cold pesto zucchini soup with sun‑dried tomatoes (vegetarian); Vietnamese chicken pho; and broccoli cream soup with blue cheese and peanuts (vegetarian, gluten‑free). Mains range from beer‑and‑honey pork loin with French flatbread and salad; Italian goat cheese and tomato meatball pasta; chicken stroganoff with cauliflower bulgur and pickles; breaded mushrooms with samurai sauce, fries, and mixed salad (vegetarian); and a cottage cheese, beef, and spinach burek with tomato sauce. Finish with Styrian noodles with house jam; Dutch sour cherry cake; or cinnamon French toast with maple syrup, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce.

Drinks and prices

Each lunch includes one mineral water or soft drink, one glass of wine or beer, and a cup of coffee. Two courses cost about USD 19.20 per person; three courses are about USD 23.30. Prices reflect the menu rates of 6,900 HUF and 8,400 HUF respectively, converted for clarity.
