From May to September 2026, a full slate of rock climbing tours and courses is rolling out from Budapest’s 9th District, Haller Street 1, serving absolute beginners and seasoned climbers alike. Expect high-mountain hikes, via ferrata days, multi-day trekking, and a Mediterranean climbing camp—always small-steps-first, always safe, and always scenic.
Austria: First Taste of Ferrata
May 1 and May 2: Via ferrata for beginners in Austria. If you’ve never clipped into a klettersteig, this one’s for you. Guides ease you in gradually and safely while the views do their jaw-dropping thing. You’ll climb three easy but stunning routes built with cables, holds, rungs, and ladders to make vertical travel accessible and thrilling.
Skalka Starter Day
May 3: Beginner Via Ferrata – Skalka. Another smooth entry into the wired world of iron paths, with progressive coaching and fully equipped routes cut across cliff faces. Same friendly approach, new terrain.
Czech Sandstone Labyrinth
May 8–10: Saxon Switzerland Sandstones (Cseh–Német homokkővidék) – Czech three-day hike. Despite the name, this wonderland straddles the Czech–German border: soaring towers, tight slots, outrageous trails. Three packed days roaming the most beautiful corners and the narrowest gorges, skirting the busiest paths while still getting those must-see vistas.
Garda Lake Ferrata Feast
May 13–17: Five days of everything at Lake Garda (Lago di Garda). Intense ferratas and panoramic ridges, a taste of town life, electric-blue lakes, beaches, jungly canyons, limestone, plus pizza, tiramisu, gelato, birra, rest, and roaming. Sunshine on the shoreline is practically guaranteed.
Myrafälle and Steinwandklamm
May 23: One-day Austrian gorge adventure. The cascading punch of the Myrafälle falls links with the narrow drama of the Steinwandklamm. Two splendid spots in one loop, wrapped with a well-earned dive into Austrian cuisine.
France: Sea Cliffs and Sunshine
May 30–June 3: Mediterranean rock camp, the Calanques (Les Calanques). Sun, sea, and bright white towers by clear water, fringed with palms. Routes vary by length and grade. If you can climb, bring it. If you’ve never tried, start here. It’s a seaside paradise tailored to all levels.
Boots in the French Alps
June 3–7: Alpine trekking with glaciers, huts, lakes, forests, and four-thousanders looming all around. Adventure-hungry? There’s optional via ferrata, too.
Ferrata Masterclass
June 13–14: Advanced, comprehensive course. Learn to plan trips, choose and manage gear, and handle rescues. Think you’ve got it dialed? Come test yourself. Fresh, practical knowledge for experienced climbers—and a path to leading friends safely.
Slovenia’s Peaks and Rivers
July 1–5: Boots-on trek through Bled, Mangart, the Soča Valley, the 472-foot Slap Boka waterfall, plus a climb of Svinjak. Wild scenery, roaring water, sweeping views—five days that hit Slovenia’s high notes.
Azerbaijan Epic: Bazardüzü
Aug 19–25: A full-spectrum Caucasus journey. Dangle your legs in a mud volcano, wander Gobustan’s rock carvings, watch a mountain burn, visit a fire temple, hop a retro truck, then summit the country’s highest four-thousander, 14,650-foot Mount Bazardüzü (Bazardüzü). Found your big adventure.
Dolomites Classics
Sept 9–13: Five days, five hikes among the world’s most photogenic peaks. Walk the poster-famous massifs, lakes, valleys, and refuges that define the Dolomites. The routes favor the most beautiful terrain, not the most crowded.
All trips start from Budapest. Organizers reserve the right to change dates and itineraries.
