Guests can mix and match their own lineup from three soups, five mains, and three desserts. Chef de Cuisine Áron Barka and his team refresh the menu weekly, keeping things playful and seasonal while covering meat lovers, vegetarians, and gluten- or lactose-sensitive diners.

Pros
+
Family-friendly vibe: broad menu with soups, mains, and desserts, plus veggie, gluten-free, and lactose-free options that make it easy to feed mixed-diet families
+
Set-price value is great by U.S. standards: $19–$23 for two or three courses with a drink and coffee included is a deal
+
Central Budapest location on Dohány Street is easy for tourists to find and pairs well with nearby sights like the Great Synagogue
+
No Hungarian needed: menus and staff at central Budapest restaurants typically handle English well, and dish names are familiar enough
+
Easy access: downtown spot is simple by metro/tram or rideshare; validated parking helps if you rent a car
+
Weekly-changing, seasonal menu means repeat visits won’t feel samey
+
Comparable to European prix-fixe weekend lunches, but cheaper than similar set menus in Paris, London, or many U.S. cities - Not a “destination” attraction: ARAZ is a nice lunch, but the subject isn’t a globally famous culinary event
Cons
Limited window (12:00–14:30 on Saturdays) can clash with sightseeing schedules and may require booking, especially for groups
Service charge (12%) plus drinks beyond the included one can nudge the final bill higher than the headline price
Location is well-known to tourists, but driving/parking in Budapest’s center can still be stressful despite validation
