Once again, autumn turns the MATE Buda Campus (MATE Budai Campus) parking lot into Budapest’s most colorful hotspot. The 2025 Autumn Garden Horticultural Days (Őszkert Horticultural Days), running October 10-12 on Villány Street (Villányi út), welcomes plant lovers to browse a huge range of flowers, plants, tools, and garden goodies from all over Hungary. Alongside everything botanical, you’ll find delicious food, eco-friendly designs, greenhouse tours, garden lectures, expert guidance, and endless green activities.

Jam-Packed Floral Festivities

Spend three lively days surrounded by indoor and outdoor plants, unique products from local growers and designers, hands-on gardening demonstrations, free expert advice, and fascinating lectures. Take a guided stroll through the Buda Arboretum (Budai Arboretum) or visit the Buda Arbor Organic Garden (Budai Arbor Biokert), then stop by the Bonsai Chamber Exhibition and wander through the lush Urban Jungle indoor plant showcase. Kid-friendly plant programs complete the packed schedule.

What’s Included and Ticket Info

All of this is included with your ticket: entry to the Bonsai Chamber Exhibition, Urban Jungle Houseplant Display, guided Arboretum walks (daily at 11 AM and 3 PM), raised bed workshops, free consultations, and lectures. Daily tickets for adults are about $7, students and seniors pay $4, families (two adults, max two students) $18, and groups $3.50 per person. Free entry for kids under 14 and people with disabilities (plus one guest).
