Budapest’s Indoor Beer Festival Takes Over New York Palace

Budapest’s Indoor Beer Festival returns Feb 6–7, 2026 at Anantara New York Palace with unlimited tastings, talks, and beer dinners featuring Hungarian, Czech, German, English, and Belgian brews.
when: 2026.02.06., Friday - 2026.02.07., Saturday
where: 1073 Budapest, Erzsébet körút 9.

Budapest’s only winter beer festival returns February 6–7, 2026, moving into the monumental Anantara New York Palace Hotel on Erzsébet Boulevard (Erzsébet körút) 9 for its ninth edition and its biggest lineup yet. Expect a whole weekend of unlimited tastings across a sprawling, multicultural tap list featuring Hungarian, Czech, German, English, and Belgian brews.

All-You-Can-Taste Beer

More than 100 draft beers will be poured over two days, served in 3.4–6.8 oz tasting pours. Your tasting glass is your passport to as many specialties—from small-batch craft to large-scale legends—as you can handle. Alongside the taps, the festival serves up talks, programs, and a five-course beer dinner that dives deep into beer gastronomy on both Friday and Saturday nights.

Dates, Sessions, Venue

– Friday, February 6 (evening): 17:00–22:30 – unlimited tastings
– Saturday, February 7 (day): 12:00–16:30 – unlimited tastings
– Saturday, February 7 (evening): 17:00–22:30 – unlimited tastings
Venue: Anantara New York Palace Hotel, 1073 Budapest, 9 Erzsébet Boulevard (Erzsébet körút).

Tickets and Pricing

Tickets are on sale now. Early-bird day tickets at 49.90 USD with unlimited tastings are available until December 10. Advance day tickets cost 61.00 USD, and on-site day tickets are 72.00 USD, each including unlimited tastings.

Playful Vibes, Serious Flavors

This winter-only celebration is made for unabashed beer lovers. It’s a family event where APA is invited and the IPA and stout uncles can’t wait to join, and where artistic souls meet rows of handcrafted nectars. Expect bold pours, clinking glasses, and a festival that’s brewed to perfection—plus the organizers reserve the right to adjust dates and programs if needed.

2025, adrienne

Pros
+
Family-friendly vibe in a classy indoor venue, so you can bring beer-curious teens for the talks while adults taste responsibly
+
Big international tap list (Hungarian, Czech, German, English, Belgian), so you’ll recognize styles even if you’re new to Hungarian beer
+
No Hungarian needed—staff at a central hotel venue are used to English-speaking visitors
+
Super central location (Anantara New York Palace on Erzsébet körút) that’s easy to reach by metro/tram/taxi from anywhere in Budapest
+
Clear session times with unlimited tastings and a small-pour format, great for sampling widely without overcommitting
+
Good value versus U.S. festivals; early-bird pricing is cheaper than many American all-you-can-taste events
+
Indoors in winter, so you dodge Budapest’s February cold while still getting a big-festival atmosphere - Not ideal for very young kids; despite the “family” language, it’s still a booze-first event
Cons
Budapest’s beer scene is growing but less globally famous than Germany/Belgium, so fewer bucket-list breweries than U.S. or UK headline fests
The hotel venue is well-known locally, but “New York Palace” can confuse foreign visitors expecting New York City—double-check the address
Car access is possible but not smart given unlimited pours; rideshares/public transit are better, which may limit late-night flexibility
