December weekends: Blake and ancient China up close
December 5–7 launches multiple strands. “Az ókori Kína világa közelről” (The World of Ancient China Up Close) runs Dec 5–7, returns Dec 9, 11–14, 16, 18–21, 27–28, and Dec 30, giving visitors frequent chances to dive into artifacts and stories spanning dynasties. Alongside it, “Menny és pokol házassága közelről” (The Marriage of Heaven and Hell Up Close) unfolds Dec 6–7, 13–14, 20–21, and 27–28, connecting William Blake’s visionary world to the museum’s collections.
Special Blake tours and fresh perspectives
A standout “Rendhagyó tárlatvezetés a William Blake kiállításban” (Unconventional Guided Tour of the William Blake Exhibition) lands Dec 10 and a triple feature on Dec 12, with another on Jan 7, 2026. Blake-themed extras include “Horváth Márk: A Blake enigma” on Dec 12 and “Blake the Silence” on Jan 10, 2026, promising deep dives and sensory twists.
Talks, readings, and hands-on sessions
The program broadens on Dec 9 with “Mama, nézd! – A születés csodája” (Mom, Look! – The Miracle of Birth). Dec 12 gets busy: “Textúra Poket – kötetbemutató” (Texture Poket – Book Launch), “A Masterful Selection of Masterpieces,” plus MerülésMűhely (Immersion Workshop). Dec 13 adds “Szombati Szemezgető – Ünnepek nyomában” (Saturday Sampler – Tracing the Holidays). “Jóga Jordán Adéllal” (Yoga with Adél Jordán) flows on Dec 20, paired with “Szieszta – séta és alkotás a múzeumban | Mi kerül az asztalra? Évezredes ételek” (Siesta – Walk and Create at the Museum | What’s on the Table? Millennia-Old Foods). A second Siesta, “Titkos kódok” (Secret Codes), arrives Jan 24, 2026, and “Szerelmi történetek” (Love Stories) on Feb 14, 2026.
