The Palace of Wonders in Budapest is rolling out a full-throttle family adventure from May 4 to May 10, 2026, at 1036 Budapest, Óbuda, Mátyás király út 24. Think thousands of square feet of hands-on play, four daily Science Shows on the Öveges Stage, and all-day experimenting in the Richter Gedeon Lab. It’s a do-touch zone where curiosity rules and kids drag parents from one mind-bending station to the next.
What’s On
Science Shows run every day from May 4–10, with fresh editions continuing May 11–17 and May 18–24. Expect flashy demos, safe explosions of knowledge, and plenty of audience “wow” moments. The venue also posts galleries with 10 new photos to preview the buzz and the setups across the multiroom playground.
Free STEAM Workshops
Educators get extra love. On May 8 and again on May 11, the Palace of Wonders hosts free Csopa STEAM workshops for educator groups. The education team is co-designing the 2026–27 professional season, inviting kindergarten teachers, primary and secondary educators, and informal education pros to join—in person or online. Ready-made program packages target kindergarten, lower-primary, and upper-primary groups, while high school classes can request tailored STEAM workshops.
Plan Ahead
Additional dates run through late May, June 1–7, and year-round slots from January 1 to December 31, 2026. Organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs.
