The two-level playhouse with multiple study rooms at 1137 Budapest, Újpesti rakpart 1, welcomes families for playful learning, Jewish traditions, and a strong sense of community. Zsiliputi Jewish Sunday School
The beloved Sunday kids’ program is back as the Zsiliputi Jewish Sunday School. Hundreds of children who spent their Sunday mornings here still talk about the memories they made through shared games and playful learning. Now refreshed and returning to the Zsilip Center, the school runs 10:00–12:30 and welcomes everyone aged 4–14, including teens.
By age group, kids:

– explore traditions,
– and absorb the values that stay with them for life.
Whether you’re little or already a teen, gearing up to be a youth leader or heading toward Bar/Bat Mitzvah, this Sunday School is designed for you.
Friday Night for Little Ones
On Friday, 2026.07.10, Zsilip hosts Péntekecske, a mini Shabbat welcome tailored for kids in the Zsiliputi playhouse. While adults hear Rabbi Glitzi’s teaching in the synagogue, a madricha leads the children’s program with games, visuals, and stories about the weekly Torah portion, Shabbat, and current holidays. There are prizes for attentive listeners—and even a raffle. Bring the whole family and let everyone learn on Shabbat.
More Sundays, Same Spark
The Sunday School repeats on 2026.07.12, keeping the momentum with the same 10:00–12:30 schedule and age-group sessions. The format blends play and learning so kids leave buzzing with new discoveries and friendships.
