On October 23, 2025, Ópusztaszer National Historical Heritage Park (Ópusztaszer Nemzeti Történeti Emlékpark) welcomes visitors for a full day of hands-on festive activities. In addition to exploring the famous Feszty Panorama and the park’s exhibits, the “Adventurous Memorial Site” program aims to bring history to life by inviting everyone to immerse themselves in the past, ask questions, and try activities firsthand.
Events for All Ages
From 11:00 am to noon, both kids and adults can discover the world of horses at the riding track through a fun, interactive session. Meanwhile, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, the Hódmezővásárhely (Hódmezővásárhely) Farm Readers’ Club will host a live traditional bread-baking demonstration using age-old recipes—tasting included! From 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, enjoy creative folk games and crafts open to everyone, not just children. There will also be a weaving demonstration from noon to 2:00 pm, where you can learn about the history and modern uses of weaving, highlighting recycling and traditional techniques with a fresh twist.
Tickets and Discounts
Entry prices follow regular rates, but residents of Csongrád-Csanád County (Csongrád-Csanád megye) receive 10% off tickets with proof of address. Tickets are available online, even on the day of the event. Organizers reserve the right to change the schedule and program elements.
