February 7–8, 2026, the Chinese New Year Festival takes over the grounds, packing two days of spectacle, flavor, and hands-on fun. Three cultural delegations from China headline the celebration, joined by two pro chefs flying in from Chengdu to cook authentic Sichuan street food throughout the weekend. Expect heat, smoke, and all the crunchy-chewy classics that make Sichuan snacks irresistible.

Parades, Power, and Pyro

The program features lion and dragon dances, plus high-energy shows that blend kung fu and circus elements. Taiji and qigong demonstrations bring a calm counterpoint, while a fire-breathing act cranks the adrenaline back up. It’s loud, colorful, and perfect for photos.

Make, Try, Discover

Visitors can dive into calligraphy and craft workshops, explore the Chinese zodiac, and learn traditional games. Entry is free, with a few activities asking for a small contribution. Come for the dragons, stay for the noodles—then leave with ink on your fingers and New Year luck in your pocket.
