November: Theater Moves Into the Gallery
November 26, 16:00–17:00
This month, theater bursts into the gallery spaces. Kids step into artworks and try out different roles. They write stories and act them out while crafting key stage props across the sessions: masks, puppets, headpieces, and even a stage set. They can be kings, queens, farm boys, or gooseherd girls — and yes, it’s all play.
Children attend independently, without guardians. After the program, staff will escort the group back to the info desk between 17:30–17:40. Meeting point: information desk. Ages: 6–12. Max group: 15. Fee: $6.88. The Creative Makerspace runs monthly themes with a fresh program every time; sessions don’t build on each other, so jump in anytime. A monthly pass is available: 4 sessions for $23.41 (instead of $27.54).
December: A Magical Winter Journey

The “Color It Again!” (Színezd újra!) club invites kids on a snowy art trip through standout works of Hungarian art. In their imagination, they’ll visit icy landscapes and warm, cheerful homes, hearing a magical tale at each stop. The workshops prep for winter and the holidays, too: encounters with Saint Nicholas, Mary, and the infant Jesus are on the agenda. After gallery games and chats, the winter stories spark hands-on making in the studio.
