Every fourth Saturday from March to October, the bustling Kecskemét Pet Fair livens up the marketplace on Saint Ladislaus Boulevard (Szent László Boulevard), right next to the go-kart track. Animal lovers and breeders from all corners of Hungary gather here, with the final event of the year set for October 25, 2025, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Bring Home a Feathered or Furry Friend
You’ll find a kaleidoscope of ornamental and farm animals: bright parrots, finches, fancy-plumed pigeons, silky-soft puppies, rabbits, ornamental fish, and countless other delightful pets. Selling dogs, cats, or wild-caught birds is strictly forbidden. For beginners, breeders share essential tips on caring for your new companion, and there’s plenty of quality pet food, comfy beds, and accessories available for purchase.
No Entrance or Parking Fees
All animals offered must have valid veterinary certificates, so parents can safely choose pets for their kids. At the same time and place, there is also a vintage car and motorcycle parts market, as well as a flea market. Entry and parking are completely free, so everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
