Get ready for three unforgettable September weekends at the Pony Yard in Budapest (Budapest)—packed with grape pressing, corn shelling, and guaranteed sticky smiles on every kid’s face. This lively harvest party takes place on September 6-7, 13-14, and 20-21, 2025, at 20 Konkoly Thege Miklós Street (Konkoly Thege Miklós út 20), and it’s designed for families to dive into the joys of country living.
Fun-Filled Harvest Activities
Little ones (and adults!) can mash grapes, grind and press them, then sample fresh must. There’s a quirky corn pool, a “mustache kitchen” for culinary fun, a flour-splash play corner, traditional wheat grinding, skill games, and a giant grape puzzle. Supervised chaos reigns in the “angry kitchen,” while favorites like “Johnny Corn’s (Kukorica Jancsi) slingshot stand” and wooden block-building keep the entertainment going.
Cuddly Animals and Carnival Rides
No one can skip pony rides or the alpaca obstacle course. There are bunny and mini-pony cuddling sessions, plus special folk games and trampolines. If the weather stays dry, kids can ride the mini-tractor harvest shuttle. Tickets cost around $12.20 each and are free for kids under two.
