On October 25th, don’t just come for the procession—immerse yourself in the vibrant St. Demetrius Herding Festival and Crane Festival, which blend folk customs, hands-on crafts, and market stalls filled with artisanal goods. Live performances fill the Pásztor Museum (Pásztormúzeum) square: musical acts, street theater, and fun shows for kids. The Crane Kitchen (Darukonyha) recipe contest and the Crane Porch decorating competition showcase local rivalries and creativity.
