Every day brings authentic Bavarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven kinds of chilled Erdinger specialties on tap, premium organic Gols beers from Austria, and a wide range of alcohol-free options for designated drivers. Days lean into live Bavarian tunes and food; nights switch to DJs and dance floors. The vibe: lager-bright, sausage-scented, lakeside festive, and open to anyone who wanders in.
Where and when
Find it at the main entrance of Csopak Beach (Csopak Strand), 8229 Csopak. Hours stretch long to match the sunsets over Lake Balaton: Friday 14:00–00:00, Saturday 11:00–00:00, Sunday 11:00–22:00. Expect constant grazing, clinking glasses, and music rolling from day into night.
On tap and on the plate
The bar centers on seven fresh Erdinger taps—think crisp wheat beers and seasonal brews—alongside a curated line of premium Gols organic beers. Drivers and light drinkers aren’t left behind: the alcohol-free selection is broad and cold. In the kitchen, it’s full-on Bavaria, served all day: pretzels, sausages, hearty plates, and late-night bites built to keep the dance floor busy.

Every evening turns competitive before it turns clubby. Beer pong tournaments run 19:00–20:00 daily—teams encouraged, pride at stake. The bravest hit the beer-drinking contest from 20:30–21:00, a short, loud showdown best cheered on with a camera ready. After that, the DJs take charge. DJ Szamosi from Tilos Radio spins 21:00–22:00 each night, and Kollár from Radio 1 drives it home 22:00–23:30 on Friday and Saturday. Sunday closes a touch earlier with Szamosi from 21:00–22:00.

Friday eases in from 14:00 with eating, drinking, music, and good cheer as the festival wakes up. From 19:00–20:00, beer pong heats up, followed by the 20:30–21:00 beer-drinking contest. Saturday, May 23
Saturday opens at 11:00 with the same eat-drink-mingle rhythm. Live Bavarian music takes the spotlight 17:00–19:00 with Donau Musikanten—oompah energy, brass, and foot-tapping classics. Then the evening repeats its competitive streak: beer pong 19:00–20:00, a bold-spirited beer-drinking face-off 20:30–21:00. DJ Szamosi 21:00–22:00 and Kollár 22:00–23:30 keep the floor moving. If you want the fullest flavor—food, bands, beers, and late-night mixes—this is your day.
Sunday, May 24
Sunday starts at 11:00 with lazy-lunch energy, rolling into live music 14:30–16:30 from Sakk Matt Company. The festival wraps with the same playful contests—beer pong from 19:00–20:00 and the 20:30–21:00 drinking duel—before Szamosi closes out 21:00–22:00. It all winds down by 22:00 so you can catch your train, your breath, or one last pretzel.
Stay close to the foam
A handful of local stays make it easy to wander home. Ágas Guesthouse sits in a quiet spot next to Csopak’s train and bus stations, five minutes’ walk from the lake. Rooms and apartments have private bathrooms and TVs; there’s free Wi‑Fi and free on-site parking, plus a spacious garden and playground—good for families and groups.
Buborék Bed blends a bakery bistro with lodging and a bicycle shop and service. For something grand, a 1929 villa near the Balaton shore has been restored to evoke interwar bourgeois charm with modern comforts. And Park Villa Csopak now lives in the former summer home of the English Ladies—old-school elegance meets lake air.

If you want to mix it up, Csopak feeds you well outside the festival gates. You’ll find excellent pizzas and Bolognese tagliatelle alongside a broader bistro lineup, plus a spot with a big cocktail and pizza selection, a leafy garden terrace, and free delivery that’s open all year.
