Nicsak, ki lakik itt?! (Hey, Who’s Living Here?!) – April 11, 2026, 3pm

Ray Cooney’s wild comedy in two acts hits the stage, translated and dramaturged by Benedek Albert, reworked for revival by Benedek Albert, Oliver W. Horváth, and HCS. Originally from Bánfalvy Stúdió in 2018, refreshed in 2025, directed by Horváth Csaba, produced by HCS and Oliver W. Horváth. Picture this: an utterly mind-blowing tale of a Hungarian in London fed up with his flood of free cash. Szűcs Róbert has it all—unemployment benefits, pension, sick pay, child allowance, disability support, and free school milk. Don’t forget his wife’s breastfeeding bra side hustle that sparks jealousy. Panicking about getting busted, he’d rather ditch the scams than his wife or freedom. But shaking off those handouts? Not so easy. Bánfalvy Stúdió’s latest riot. Cast: Linda Szűcs-Swan (Varga Iza/Kondákor Zsófia), Szűcs Róbert (Hujber Ferenc), Pawel Duda (Harmath Imre/Gombás Ádám), Mr. George Jenkins (Gombás Ádám/Kiss Zoli), Gyurka (Ganxsta Zolee), Sally Chessington (Bugár Anna/Kondákor Zsófia), Dr. Chapman (Sándor Péter/Hajdu Levente), Mr. Fortbright (Imre István/Csányi Dávid), Miss Cowper (György Orsolya), Magdalena Szmrczyk (Stelczer Timi).

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap (Mindenki gyanús – Everyone Suspicious) – April 13, 2026, 7pm

Two-hour mind gym, stage math, now-you-see-it game. Light fun where audiences leave feeling cleverly tricked. The young Ralston couple’s remote inn is cut off by snowdrifts—even the phone line’s cut, Christie-style. A Culver Street murder victim, then detective Trotter skis in. The killer’s among the guests. Christie parades suspects, proving each one’s guilt beyond doubt—but we know only one’s bad. By the third reveal, you’re double duped; by the fourth, triple—she lures you from trap to trap, then sets the ultimate one. Agatha gave theater rights to her grandson, predicting it’d die in six months. Wrong! London’s St. Martin’s Theatre has run it for 69 years straight since Churchill’s premiership, amid meat, bacon, sugar, and butter rationing. 28,000 shows, 454 actors, 149 miles of ironed shirts, 512 tons of lobby ice cream sold. Third top tourist spot after Big Ben and Tower Bridge. Veres 1 Theater (Veres 1 Színház) nails the classic Christie vibe: roaring fire, snowy winds, spot-on 1920s costumes. Tense fun from detailed sets and sharp acting keeps “who’s the killer?” burning till the end. Cast: Mr. Paravicini (Trokán Péter), Mollie Ralston (Csáki Edina), Giles Ralston (Pásztor Tibor), Christopher Wren (Dósa Mátyás/Krajnik-Balogh Gábor), Trotter (Mohai Tamás), Mrs. Boyle (Zorgel Enikő), Metcalf (Venyige Sándor), Miss Casewell (Molnár Gyöngyi). Music: Lencsés Balázs; dramaturg: Venyige Sándor; sets/costumes: Gedeon Boróka; director: Schlanger András.
