The 2026 market days are set for April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19, August 16, September 20, October 18, and November 15. The flea market operates 05:00–14:00, while the animal market runs 05:00–11:00. The general market area is open 05:00–11:00, and the livestock section keeps the same early schedule. Early birds get the best picks, and by mid-morning the place is in full swing.

The animal market features poultry, small animals, and livestock, alongside feed and all the gear needed for animal keeping. For Regular Stallholders
– You need a valid registration through the e-Government portal via the Client Gateway, under “Notification of conducting commercial activity – market – fair – public space,” filed with the Municipality of Dunaföldvár.
– You must operate a valid business: company, sole proprietor, primary producer (with FELIR number and NÉBIH activity ID), family farming group (ÖCSG), or an invoice-capable private individual (folk artist, craftsperson, painter, ceramicist).
– The annual rental fee must be paid.
For Occasional Sellers
– You can trade by paying the pitch fee and parking fee on the day.
– One seller may purchase annual usage for up to 12 designated units per year, no more than 4 adjacent units, and at most across 3 locations within the fairground. Rented units cannot be exchanged or resold. Violations terminate the rental immediately without refund.
– The Municipality of Dunaföldvár may reassign a stall to a different spot from the previous year.
– To sign an annual rental agreement, you must hold valid business credentials as described above. Any change in your details must be reported in writing to the Municipality within 15 days.
Fees and Local Discounts
Fees for 2024 were set by Municipal Resolution 70/2023. Permanent Dunaföldvár residents who are primary producers, members of an ÖCSG, or locally registered sole proprietors and companies pay 75% of the standard pitch fee. For the discount, local primary producers and ÖCSG members must present an ID card and address card. All amounts listed in HUF are payable on site; no USD conversion is needed.
