November 8-9, 2025, marks the third year of GasztroFok in Siófok, a weekend when culinary lovers can literally taste their way across the city. From Széplak (Széplak) to Sóstó (Sóstó), Kiliti (Kiliti) to Szabadi (Szabadi), local restaurants, wineries, and food producers collaborate to showcase regional food and wine. The goal is to promote Siófok as a year-round Lake Balaton (Balaton) destination and to firmly place it on Hungary’s gastronomic map.
A Culinary Tour Like No Other
This two-day event features over a dozen participating venues, each offering special menus, discounts, and some unexpected surprises. There’s truly something for every taste—artisan breakfasts at After & Brunch and Café Maran, boutique wines at Horváth Winery of Aliga (Aligai Horváth Pince), home-style dishes at Father’s World (Apa Világa), smoky BBQ delights from Southern Shore Woodfire BBQ (Déli Part Woodfire BBQ), and an exciting array of Italian flavors courtesy of Bella Italia, Pietro, and A Pinch of Naples (Egy Csipet Nápoly). Fans of traditional Hungarian cuisine must visit Old Fisherman (Öreg Halász) and Sanyi’s Corner (Sanyi Sarok), while Sushi Bar (Sushi Bár) whisks foodies away to Asia. Unique local flavors await at Small Garden Tavern (Kiskert Vendéglő), and dessert lovers will want to save room for a stop at Dynasty Confectionery (Dinasztia Cukrászda).
Star Power & Fun For All Ages
The ambassador of this year’s event is Siófok’s own young talent, Noel Fodor, a member of Hungary’s 2024 Bocuse d’Or team and winner of the “Most Beautiful Platter” award. For families with children, HashtEgg Toyee Adventure Park promises unforgettable moments, while on March 29-30, musical programs, entertainment, more discounts, and exclusive offers await.

Table reservations are strongly recommended—this event draws big crowds. To help guests sample as many places as possible, a discounted “GastroTaxi” (GasztroTaxi) service will be running, making it easy to hop between restaurants throughout Siófok during GasztroFok.
