The Australian electronic duo Empire of the Sun is launching a sprawling Ask That God Tour this spring, hitting more than 20 stops and arriving in Hungary on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore promise their euphoric, sun-drenched sound at Budapest Park (Budapest Park), folding shimmering synths and big-chorus anthems into a full-scale live spectacle. With multiple platinum releases under their belt, the pair returns with the maximalist pop theatrics that have made them festival fixtures worldwide.
Tour momentum
Kicking off in the spring, the itinerary stretches across continents, with the Budapest (Budapest) date set as one of the summer highlights. Fans can expect the duo’s signature fusion of electro-pop gloss and cinematic staging—part sci-fi fantasy, part dance-floor catharsis—designed for outdoor nights and mass sing-alongs.
Who’s on stage
Fronted by Luke Steele with co-founder Nick Littlemore, Empire of the Sun has built a mythology around neon futurism and radiant hooks. Budapest Park (Budapest Park) becomes their next dreamscape on June 7 as they deliver those “euphoric melodies from the empire of the sun” live and loud.
