The concept is simple: you and your crew (teams of two to eight) are trapped in a room themed after legendary tales, and only top-notch logic – plus smooth collaboration – will get anyone out in time. It’s all about connecting clues and racing against the clock. Teams are encouraged to work in sync, combining brainpower to uncover hidden trails that lead to freedom.

Escape Room Themes: From Jungles to Cursed Mummies

There’s a room for every mood and taste, but all share one thing in common: detailed, immersive design inspired by iconic books and films. The Curse of the Mummy (A múmia átka) transports you beneath the sand into a stunningly realistic pyramid, winding past hieroglyphics, ancient statues, and murals before you meet the deeply creepy, cursed mummy herself. The Jungle Mystery (A dzsungel rejtélye) throws you into a tattered attic straight out of the wildest dreams of Jumanji fans, and soon you end up in a strange world, asking one question: Where on earth are we now?

Aztecs’ Gold (Aztékok aranya) is the newest challenge—think Indiana Jones meets history class. Your team gets a full hour and a half to chase down the legendary lost treasure of the Aztecs, moving through a series of rooms filled with historical puzzles, with everything laid out just like in the movies.

Then there’s Saw’s Legacy (Fűrész hagyatékai), a room packed with genuinely unnerving tasks and a heavy horror vibe – not recommended for kids. On the lighter, more active side, The Lost Crown (Elveszett korona) is a city-wide outdoor escape game where the whole of downtown Veszprém becomes your playground. Think riddles, challenges, and a treasure hunt that doubles as a walking tour of the city’s best landmarks.

Who Can Play?

Every theme except Saw’s Legacy is family-friendly—kids are welcome and will have a blast. Organizers do ask guests to treat props and furniture carefully; if your team gets a bit too rowdy and something breaks, you’ll have to cover the damage.

All rooms are spacious and can fit up to eight players, but the sweet spot for fun and challenge is around three or four people. Organizers recommend splitting up and booking two close time slots if your group is larger, so everyone gets plenty of puzzles to solve and can even compete for the fastest escape. Booking is easy, with 60- or 90-minute games indoors and a 90-minute outdoor adventure, but same-day games are only available by phone.

You’ll find the five game experiences at three different locations across Veszprém, each with its own Escape (Menekülj)-labeled doorbell—just ring and your real-life adventure begins.
