The grandest outdoor event of the year wraps up the season at Monostori Fortress (Monostori erőd) on October 19, 2025, as the Second World War Battle Reenactment bursts into action in Komárom (Komárom). Expect an adrenaline-charged atmosphere with a bustling fair, tank and weapon demonstrations, immersive scenes of military life, aircraft displays, pyrotechnics, and plenty of interactive activities to pull you right into 1944.
All-Day Thrills and Live Action
Gates swing open at 10 AM, welcoming history buffs and families alike. The iconic “Stars of Eger” (Egri csillagok) musical kicks off at 11:30, offering a stirring live performance. Then, at 3 PM, the main event erupts: a massive battle reenactment, complete with a dramatic air battle. Don’t miss this explosion of history and action!
