2025. November 10. Monday, 14:00 – Kálmán Imre Cultural Center
Balázs Ágnes’s gorgeous family tale is for ages six and up, welcoming both lower and upper primary school kids. The twist: writer Balázs Ágnes not only retells several famous Andersen stories, but also imagines the origin of Hans Christian Andersen’s own storybook while revealing, with tender insight, the beauty of Andersen’s soul.
A 75-minute musical fairy play by Fellegjárók Társulat, part of the Csimota season pass.
On a bleak, stormy day, a little orphan girl wanders into Andersen’s humble basement flat. Little Gerda is captivated by a tiny puppet theater with four lonely puppets. When they spring to life—the Tin Soldier, the Dancer, Zsófi the rag doll, and Ole the elf—they send Gerda on a special mission: hug the Snow Queen so ice can melt in people’s hearts and a happier, kinder world can dawn.
It’s a retelling of multiple Andersen classics and a backstage pass to how the Danish master’s fairy-tale book was born. He craved global fame, first as an actor and then as a playwright, but immortality came from the tales. Balázs Ágnes’s songs and catchy melodies promise true escape for kids and adults alike, with Fellegjárók Társulat fielding a buoyant cast and creators for an unbridled show.

Lánybúcsú (Bachelorette): A Republic-Fueled Musical Mix-Up
2026. January 24. Saturday, 19:00 – Kálmán Imre Cultural Center
Liliom Produkció’s new musical follows four forty-something childhood friends—Alíz, Bella, Petra, and Laura—who throw a “bachelorette” in a Balaton Uplands villa. Of course, it doesn’t go as planned: the actress-owner mom and Erzsike, the practically-family housekeeper, have no clue. Unexpected guests, guests’ guests, and total wild cards crash the party. Champagne and other drinks flow, complications multiply, skeletons tumble from closets—and Laura’s cake definitely doesn’t help.
The four women, plus Erzsike, try to unknot the chaos with limited success—until András arrives. Expect a breezy, female-led crowd-pleaser where, for once, the man smooths the mess. The soundtrack leans on Bódi László, Cipő, and Republic hits, including Repül a bálna (The Whale Flies), Szállj el kismadár (Fly Away, Little Bird), and Neked könnyű lehet (It Might Be Easy for You).
Cast: Nóra – Sztárek Andrea; Erzsike – Oszvald Marika; Petra – Haumann Petra; Alíz – Bozó Andrea; Bella – Kokas Piroska; Laura – Tunyogi Bernadett; András – Puszt
