Keszthely’s Goldmark Károly Cultural Center is rolling out a year-long family program that’s cheerful, hands-on, and designed for all ages. From baby-friendly nursery rhyme mornings to a spring-themed creative workshop, the schedule offers weekly experiences that keep little ones engaged and parents relaxed. The main hub is GKMKK’s Grand Hall at 8360 Keszthely, Fő tér 3, with a special craft afternoon at Folk Tale Point (NépmesePont), 8360 Keszthely, Kossuth Lajos Street (Kossuth Lajos utca) 28.
Every Wednesday at 9:30 AM, the Grand Hall hosts Kerekítő Mondókázó, a warm, playful session for ages 0–3. Led by Attila Zólyomi, it blends puppet vignettes by Kerekítő Manó with simple instrument play, songs, and traditional nursery rhymes. The vibe is gentle, musical, and wonderfully rhythmic—perfect for tiny hands and curious ears.
Dates run deep into summer: March 11, 18, and 25; April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29; May 6, 13, 20, and 27; June 3, 10, 17, and 24; and July 1. Arrive a little early to settle in—strollers line up fast when the puppets come out.
Mark March 14, 3:00–5:00 PM, for a free Creative Playhouse inspired by spring and upcoming holidays at GKMKK’s Folk Tale Point (NépmesePont). Workshop leader Adél Tóth welcomes kids and grown-ups to a breezy afternoon of making and imagining. Together you’ll craft bright birds, fresh flowers, and delicate snowdrop fairies—each a sweet nod to the season’s first blooms.
The session is drop-in friendly, budget-friendly, and mood-lifting. It’s as much about community as it is about crafting, with tables where siblings, parents, grandparents, and friends can sit side by side and turn paper and fabric into little keepsakes. Expect color, music in the background, and many tiny triumphs at the cutting-and-gluing stations.
