On Wednesday, June 18, a special summer evening dinner invites guests to experience the freshest local flavors. Organized by Farm2Fork, this event showcases the vibrant produce of organic gardens and local farmers. Chefs bring these ingredients to life, adding creative twists to each dish.
A Six-Course Celebration of Seasonal Flavors
The six-course tasting menu is a collaborative creation by chefs James Kovács (Kovács Rent), Norbert Piszkor, and Charles Sajben (Csaba Sajben), who have carefully designed each plate to highlight the best flavors of the season. Diners can look forward to a journey of tastes, starting with trout ceviche and green strawberries, followed by chilled buttermilk soup with sweet bread and gooseberry relish, classic Hungarian ratatouille (lecsó), sand bean stew with toasted kale, smoked tomatoes, and sweet potato chips. The feast concludes with yellow melon salad with almonds and feta, and finally, sour cherry sponge cake with yeast ice cream and elderflower custard.
